I create original sculptural ceramics in my home studio, out of passion and love for the sculpting process itself. My forms grow out of observations of nature, organic shapes, rhythms, and structures that have always attracted me. I mainly work with the coil-building technique, which allows me to build soft, biomorphic silhouettes with a natural flow and a distinct, raw texture.
Each piece is created slowly and carries a part of my energy, time, and sensibility.
Most of my works are made from high-quality stoneware clay fired at high temperatures. This makes the ceramics durable, resistant to daily use, and impermeable. I glaze the interiors of vases, which allows them to retain their full functionality and enables them to hold water and fresh flowers.
The glazes used on bowls, plates, and utilitarian vessels are food-safe.
The durability of the material means that these objects can be used and appreciated for many years.
My works are made entirely by hand, using traditional coil-building techniques, as well as modeling, sculpting, and surface finishing. This process allows me to bring out the organic nature of the material and give each object a unique form and structure.
Each object is unique and has its own character.
